Double spread

Well, just finished sending my submission to Top Cow.
I'm never very hopeful when it comes to actually winning any kind of "contest"... but you never know!
Here's page 02-03... probably the page that took me longer to complete.
See you in 2013!

Upper Deck Marvel Premier

Well, this was my first ever adventure in the sketch card world!
I had a lot a fun drawing some of my favourite characters and the hinged cards gave me a chance to create some great scenes with multiple characters!
Unfortunately Upper Deck has not yet sent me the "official" approval on my cards, but since they are popping up everywhere in the www, I'll go ahead and show some of the cards that I found in Ebay, Scoundrel Art Community,...

There are more out there and my personal favourites are yet to appear!
By the way, I did the 50 base set plus 18 hinged cards (I believe they were all approved) and I still have 6 AP for commissions.

Here's my first page for Top Cow Talent Hunt.

I might change a couple of things before I consider the page finished, but not much...

Room decoration

This one has almost 3 years old.

It was done for my son's room a few weeks before he was born.
It's about to be replaced with something with Spider-Man, Hulk, Thor and some others!

Take care!

Hulk sketches

Some sketches I did for some pages I'm creating featuring the Red Hulk.

I was aiming for something powerful, and I kinda liked the result here.

Back problems...

Why are some parts of the human anatomy just so damn hard for me to get them right??
Like the back, for instance...

Quick sketch.

Gladiator vs Superman II

A few years ago I did this piece just for kicks: Gladiator vs Superman

It looks like when it comes to Superman and Gladiator everyone has an opinion about who is more powerful...

I just remembered that sketch and did a new one... less action but more concerned about anatomy. Oh, and this time I gave a little advantage to Superman, just to balance things.
Here it is:

Horror in the West!

A while back I contributed with art for a story set in the Old West. It is part of an anthology of stories of the same genre.
Turns out, a publisher showed interested in printing and distributing the book! Only needs some funding to cover printer costs...
More details here: http://www.indiegogo.com/Horror-in-the-West

Contribute and you won't regret it!

Art for sale!

By the way...

Want to buy some illustrations done by me?

Here's the site (don't forget to check the other artists too, great stuff going on there)!

Go...

Playing with colors...

So, I might be involved in a project that requires me to color my drawings, in the near future.
I took out the brushes and played a bit... just to remember how it goes.

Here's the result...
I'll probably give it to my kid. He loves Captain America!!

See ya!

So...

After a couple of reviews and after letting the pages sit for a while, I took a new look at them and decided to change a few things. Here's the final result:

The Vault on The Duck : Page The Beginning

I don't know at this point how often I'll update the pages, but I'll use my free time to work on this side project and hopefully make some progresses.
